Kristin Huizenga worked with Katie Noland of the San Francisco Estuary Institute and Schuyler Nardelli of the USGS in Sacramento to propose a session at the upcoming September Restore America’s Estuaries meeting in San Francisco in September. Their session proposal is entitled, “Best practices for collecting high-frequency water quality data in estuarine and coastal systems.”
Reece Thompson will return as a summer research assistant with the Buzzards Bay Coalition this year. Reece was an NSF-supported REU at Woodwell Climate in the summer of 2025. Reece is finishing up his degree in Biology at the University of Alabama. He will work the COMBB team deploying water quality loggers and interpreting water quality data.
